We are looking for a Material Handler to join our client in Christchurch, this is an exciting role that can offer a lot of variety...We are looking for a Material Handler to join our client in Christchurch, this is an exciting role that can offer a lot of variety and opportunity for training. This role is permanent and an offer an immediate start. The company are looking for a motivated and career driven person who is looking to excel, the role is £11.50ph - £12.50 DOE to start with great opportunities to progress your skills and increase your pay rate The role is working Monday to Friday on a day shift. This is a large company that design and manufacture high quality structures and equipment, you will be working with a large catalogue of products throughout the distribution and manufacturing process. Duties for the successful Material Handler: - Marking out material and templates - Moving materials around yard and workshop - Using various hand and power tools - Shot blasting - Assisting around the workshop as and when needed. - Using forklift to move goods Key skills to be considered for this Material Handler: - Previous experience within a materials role - Flexible and versatile with a can do attitude - Current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential - Experience working with metal and within manufacturing would be preferred but not essential Benefits for the successful Material Handler: - On the job training - Regular reviews with potential for progression through pay banding's - Supportive team environment - Company bonus scheme - Free on site parking - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays If you are looking for the next step in your career please apply with your CV and Yasmin will call you.
