The client is offering a full time, contract position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority. The RoleKey purpose of the role is to carry out asset condition surveys on a full range of corporate buildings. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Plan and carry out a programme of site surveys in relation to condition, undertaking schedules of condition, dilapidations, measured surveys and defect analysisWrite reports and calculate remedial costs. Identify and manage the updating of information and drawings.Ideally have experience both in building fabric and engineering services and be able to confidently assess condition overall.Follow and work with quality assurance procedures across projects and services.Prepare and undertake specifications, drawings risk assessments and contract management for occasional small projects arising Our Successful Candidate: We are looking for you to offer a combination of relevant experience and industry recognised training for the position, demonstrated by. The CandidateTo be considered for this role you will hold or be working towards a Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors RICS, or equivalent in the building sector.
