Role Description This role will be a 12 month fixed term contract only and can be delivered from Airswift's Dubai or Manchester office on a hybrid basis. Coordinate, collate, and assist with writing and editing creative, innovative, and exceptional quality bids for the company. To professionally tailor the bids to the requirements of each client by use of market intelligence research, liaison with internal and external key stakeholders and project managing the bid process end to end on own initiative. He/she will help translate the operational practice and procedures into proposals that sell the business within the marketplace.This is a demanding role, where attention to detail is paramount. The post holder will liaise across various business functions to develop viable and commercial delivery solutions and take responsibility for providing the fine details required to complete bids to tight deadlines and at times, in a high-pressure, driven environment. Principle Accountabilities: Contribute to bid strategy and process to maximise chances of success. Assemble the bid team and prepare bid tools for managing the bid collation/submission process. Project manage all bid content by coordinating all company and management input and arranging bid team reviews to meet proposal production deadlines. Effective management and resolution of issues arising during any bid under management guidance. Review bid content at all stages to ensure quality, relevance and compliance objectives are met and if not, to escalate to the appropriate individual/department. Organise, structure and draft consistently high-quality documentation concerning content and presentation. Produce post bid review and communicate as appropriate. Ensuring that all tenders are submitted consistently ahead of the deadlines set by the client. To develop a knowledge base of the company that is second to none, with an ability to produce bids on all company services. To objectively appraise bid submissions and to add and edit information as necessary to structure an effective response. To provide technical and commercial writing skills and to display creative flair in all bid submissions. To think laterally and contribute relevant ideas for developing bid submissions to the company’s advantage to accurately portray the company’s strengths over its competitors. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Excellent written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the audience/scenario. Previous experience working in a similar environment with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role is essential. Previous project management experience desirable. Experience working in a busy, deadline-driven working environment is essential as the role demands the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with key task identification and prioritisation. Previous experience in writing/producing bids to a high standard with a particular focus on relevance, structure/presentation, accuracy, detail, and grammar. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
