Our client an established industrial manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager with previous experience of working within fast-paced industrial manufacturing environments managing end-to-end supply chain functions.Supply Chain Manager – Manufacturing – West Yorkshire - £50,000 to £60,000 DOE Role OverviewOur client an established industrial manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager with previous experience of working within fast-paced industrial manufacturing environments.The successful candidate will sit as part of the Senior Leadership Team and will play a key role in overseeing and developing the end-to-end supply chain function for the business, driving operational excellence and high service levels, via the ongoing development and improvement of the function. Supply Chain Manager – Requirements Ideally educated to Degree Level in a relevant Business or Supply Chain related discipline and/or hold CIPS Level 6 Diploma QualificationPrevious experience of managing a fast-paced end-to-end supply chain functionExtensive experience of working within fast-paced industrial manufacturing industry sectorsProven ability to drive change and process improvementIn depth knowledge and use of SAPStrategic knowledge of Supply Chain ManagementSkilled in Data Analysis & Reporting Supply Chain Manager - Responsibilities Oversee the smooth operation and ongoing improvement of the end-to-end supply chain function via 4 direct reports, including Planning Manager, Purchasing Manager & Logistics ManagerDevelop and implement efficient systems for tracking and communication throughout the supply chainReduce lead times and improve overall efficiency, adding value to the businessBuild strong, long-lasting relationships with key global suppliers, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 quality standardsManage inventory control and demand planning using proven methodsImplement a robust demand management processSupport the Implementation of planning tool softwareWork with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth logistics operations and adherence to health & safety standardsContinuously work to reduce costs while maintaining marginsChampion continuous improvement initiativesOversee clear communication and information flow from suppliers, including pricing and updatesPartner with sales and marketing on new product developmentGain a deep understanding of competitor offerings and develop strategies to maintain the company’s competitive edgeMentor supply chain team members, to achieve both business and personal objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Ensure that Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to including the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
