Position: Area Sales Manager - Agri MachineryLocation: Wexford/SoutheastSalary: Neg DOEPosition: Area Sales Manager – Agri Machinery Location: Wexford/Southeast Salary: Neg DOE Main Responsibilities: Progress sales leads from initial enquiry through to closureValue and assess trade-insEnsure any after sales issues raised by a customer are attended toCultivating the customer base and always looking for new opportunities for salesPromoting sales through our various online sales channelsOverseeing demonstrations and attendance at machinery shows, setting up displaysTo meet & exceed annual sales targets & understand and review sales KPI'sLiaise as required with suppliers regarding specification, price, aftersales issues, etc.Adhere to company sales procedures and policies including sale sheets, finance documentation, credit policy, etcMaintain a sales diary on our CRM system; Minimum Requirements: Have a high level understanding of modern agricultural equipment & practices, including cultivation & GPS technology.Familiarity with driving a tractor / using farm machinery is essential and a full clean drivers licenseFinancial awareness is expected so as to be able to calculate costs and margins and understand and drive sales targets within the sales teamAn ability to document deals, maintain customer records and use of IT tools is required.Being at ease with technology and business software is expected.
