Overview The Sigma 33ood is the higher performance version of the Sigma 33 cruiser-racer design. Despite nominally being a racing design, these boats make equally good - cruisers, with a fully fitted cruising interior. As so many of these boats have been raced extensively, it is common to find boats cosmetically tired, although perhaps with good sails.Occasionally a really good example turns up, as is the case with "Sigmatic". Dimensions & general LOA - 9.88m LWL - 8.00m Beam - 3.20m Draft - 1.75m Displacement - 4275kg Ballast - 1521kg Designer - David Thomas. Builder - Marine Projects (Plymouth) Ltd. Hull No. A23. Yard No. A3023. Hull, deck & superstructure White GRP hull deck and superstructure. The hull was professionally painted with International 2 pack polyurethane in 2020 and looks amazing. Deck Non slip deck with raised aluminium toerail, secured with double guard wires via pulpit, stanchion posts and quarter pushpits. Forward is an anchor locker with lid, feeding a single bow roller. Good open side decks lead to an aft cockpit with large starboard cockpit locker and separate gas locker. Keel & rudder Iron fin keel. Keel bolts recently pulled and inspected. Single semi-balanced rudder with tiller & Spinlock tiller extension. Interior & accommodation Accommodation comprises - 7 berths in 2 cabins with separate heads. Teak faced marine ply interior with satin varnish, in good condition. Burgundy vinyl upholstery in the forward cabin and quarter berth, in good condition. Burgundy cloth upholstery in the main saloon, in good condition. Hull linings are all in good condition. Diesel fired warm air central heating. New heating unit 2019. Clock, barometer and carving plate mounted on the main bulkhead. Sony radio/stereo CD player and 2 x saloon speakers. Forecabin 'V' berth with infill to create a double berth as required. Under berth storage for sails. Additional open fronted storage for ancillary gear. Above the berth and outboard are open fronted cave lockers for personal storage. There is a deck hatch with vent. Heads & wet hanging locker Manual flushing toilet. Sunken counter top sink with manual fresh water pump. Locker below the sink and two lockers outboard. Hull side portlight. Mirror. Toilet role holder with integral cover. Double hanging lockers opposite to starboard for wet or dry gear. Both with vinyl fronts with zip fasteners. The heating is also ducted to this locker for drying. Saloon To port is an 'L' shaped settee berth which will convert to a double with the table which lowers and has an extension piece. Outboard are storage lockers. To starboard is a single settee berth with pilot berth above. There is large central table with central adjustable leg and folding leaf, giving full width dinning. Galley Situated to starboard at the aft end of the saloon and separated with a partial bulkhead. Lockers outboard for dinning wear and provisions, cutlery drawer, locker under the sink and under the cooker. Gimballed Techimpex 2 burner gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel oven crash bar. Round stainless steel sink with hot and cold powered mixer tap. Top loading cold storage. Navigation station & quarter berth Opposite the galley is the navigation station with forward facing chart table. The chart table has chart storage internally and outboard is a open fronted locker and further lockers running aft. The quarter berth is wide and long and runs all the way aft. Deck equipment Single bow roller. Anchor locker with lid. Anchor with 30m chain for cruising. Anchor and kedge as per class rules. Two forward and two aft mooring cleats. Mooring warps and fenders. Coachroof grab handles. Duckboard in cockpit. Cockpit liferaft storage at the hatch entrance, open fronted, under a removable lid.
