Location: London Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Commission/OTE: 100% of base salary Employment Type: Permanent Reports To: Head of Sales/Director Role Purpose: The Sales Consultant role with our client is pivotal in driving business growth through proactive lead generation and sales activities. This position requires an energetic, results-driven and entrepreneurial individual passionate about building relationships and driving outbound conversations. The Sales Consultant will be integral in helping the client expand their presence in the UK market. About the Client: Our client is a global design and software engineering consultancy with over 700 employees. Known for their expertise in Lean methodology, cloud-native technologies, and product development, the client is committed to being a "Career Sanctuary," focusing on inclusive growth and merit-based opportunities. With 40 employees in the UK, they provide bespoke software solutions, working with start-up's and large enterprises alike. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Drive outbound sales conversations and identify new business opportunities, meeting a target of £2.5 million yearly revenue. Sales Pipeline: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, networking, and running campaigns to generate qualified leads. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, especially within front-end consulting services, including mobile content and cross-platform mobile & web solutions. Opportunity Management: Qualify leads, align client needs with the client's offerings, and negotiate deals to close new business. Revenue Targets: Achieve quarterly revenue targets with a £60,000 bonus on successful completion, paid quarterly. Sales Reporting: Record and track all business development activities using HubSpot CRM, conducting regular analysis to optimize sales practices. Consultative Selling: Use a consultative approach to understand client needs and deliver bespoke software development solutions. What We Are Looking For: Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of sales experience within consultative or bespoke services, especially within tech, product delivery, or consulting sectors. Background: Strong track record of selling complex solutions, with prior experience in full-stack bespoke solutions (including mobile and web) being essential. Entrepreneurial Spirit: The ideal candidate has a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, potentially with experience in a start-ups environment or having tried their own business ventures. Personality Traits: Ambitious, smart, organized, and autonomous. Must be a self-starter with the ability to set themselves apart in the room by asking smart questions. Educational Background: A degree in STEM (Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Economics) from a reputable university is preferred. Industry Knowledge: Bonus points for experience in insurance, retail/fashion, or private equity/venture capital sectors. Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM for tracking sales activities and conducting regular performance analysis.
