The Role: We’re recruiting for an exciting and important role within the Category Strategy team, where you will be working with the team to shape our category and business strategy through shopper and market insights. * Working alongside the Category Strategy Lead to develop market leading insight-based Category Strategies to inspire our retail partners and shape overall business strategy * Developing our retailer execution/perfect store framework as part of overall Category Strategy delivery * Being the voice of the Category Strategy team in key internal forums by monitoring, evaluating & communicating changes in category, shopper, and macro trends, recommending actions to address issues and opportunities affecting the category and/or K-C brands * Partnering cross-functionally with Marketing and Commercial Strategy on key Go-To-Market initiatives e.g. New Product Launches, to ensure alignment to Category Strategy, and producing compelling retailer content aligned to category principles * Playing a key role in our annual Strategic Business Assessment process, representing Category and Shopper thinking to generate recommendations for future strategy based on foresight * Supporting the wider Category Strategy team and partnering with the Category Data & Insights Manager on category data reporting as and when required Skills and Experience * Naturally inquisitive with an interest in shopper and market insights * The ability to draw implications from insights, unearthing the ‘so what’, to create actionable recommendations * The ability to create and tell compelling stories * High standards of content creation including Powerpoint and Excel to create professional external and internal content * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner with and influence internal stakeholders * Experience working in the FMCG sector and with key insights and data sources * Whilst this is an internal role, prior experience in a retailer-facing role would be beneficial Total Benefits We offer competitive pay and benefits to employees and reward excellence and performance.
