Role Description The Vice President of Sales is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and leading the regional sales strategy. This individual will spearhead business development efforts, build high-performing sales teams, and expand the company’s client base globally.The VP of Sales will play a critical role in delivering on our growth objectives and strategic priority to Advance STEM by identifying new market opportunities and fostering strong relationships with key clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in workforce solutions and a strong track record in sales growth. Principle Accountabilities: Lead and manage the sales process, ensuring the effective execution of sales plans to drive business development and secure new clients. Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and strategic priorities. Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities. Collaborate with regional sales teams and other business lines, ensuring cross-functional sales alignment and sharing of best practices. Lead efforts to achieve or exceed revenue targets by attracting, securing, and retaining new business. Oversee client acquisition strategies, ensuring a consistent approach to growing the client base. Develop pricing models and oversee contract negotiations to ensure profitability and competitiveness. Own the regional sales P&L and ensure alignment with broader financial targets. Develop KPIs and performance metrics to track success, driving accountability across the sales organisation. Lead sales forecasting efforts for the region, ensuring accurate projections and robust pipelining. Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closure, optimising sales processes for efficiency and scale. Collaborate with sales leaders in other regions, fostering a unified global sales approach and managing cross-region opportunities. Co-Chair the global Sales Council, bringing together regional leaders to drive collaboration, best practices, and innovation across global sales functions. Manage regional strategic accounts. Lead through influence, providing guidance and mentorship to both direct reports (if applicable) and regional sales teams to foster a culture of high performance and accountability. Collaborate with L&D to implement sales training programmes to continuously improve the sales capabilities across the region, ensuring teams are well-equipped to meet market challenges. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Strong capability to develop and execute long-term strategies while maintaining focus on short-term results. Ability to lead through influence and inspire teams, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Expert negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals and securing large-scale contracts. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and clients. Deep understanding of sales processes and VFE. Minimum of 10-15 years of sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within workforce solutions. Proven ability to deliver significant revenue growth and manage large, complex sales opportunities over multiple countries. Strong experience in developing and nurturing new client relationships, with a focus on value creation. What we can offer you!
