Senior Environmental Consultant (BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor)

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant with expertise in BREEAM Infrastructure to join a team and help shape the future of sustainable infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of technical specialists, working on exciting and diverse projects while delivering environmental assessments and BREEAM infrastructure evaluations. Location: Cork, Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Lead the coordination and delivery of environmental work, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) , environmental management, and options appraisals. Drive high standards of environmental performance on multidisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring optimal outcomes. Prepare well-written, clear reports and review the work of others, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Manage client relationships and lead bid preparation while developing new business opportunities. Provide sustainability management and BREEAM Infrastructure assessments , including pre-assessments, strategies, and evidence evaluation. Facilitate sustainability meetings with clients, design teams, and construction teams. Requirements: Degree or master's in Environmental Management , Sustainability , Engineering , or a related field. Chartered status and several years of post-graduate experience, ideally in a consultancy setting. Extensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical specialisms. BREEAM Infrastructure v6 accreditation and experience in sustainability certifications for infrastructure projects. Strong leadership, report writing, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and engage with multidisciplinary teams. To add: Diverse and inclusive community where everyone can thrive and develop.
