Conference and Events Sales Executive - Independent Luxury Hotel Group£30k Basic, £39k OTE Yorkshire basedWe are a leading luxury hotel group with locations across the UK, each with its own unique character. We are investing in excess of £55m over the next two years in our drive to provide the best possible hotel experience to our private and corporate guests, and we are regular industry award winners. Due to our success, we currently require an additional Hotel Conference and Events Sales Executive for one of our Yorkshire based locations.Reporting to a Cluster Area manager who has overall responsibility for the sales performance of a number of our venues in the Yorkshire region, you will be responsible for selling conference space and bedrooms against specific KPIs relating to both location and Group targets.The successful applicant will take on immediate responsibility for identifying and understanding the specific benefits and USPs relating to their location, understanding the local market, competition and seasonality, and setting/delivering to agreed targets.This role requires a self confident and motivated achiever with a proven track record of over two years sales delivery, not necessarily from the Hotel sector. You must demonstrate the ability to close, along with a clear strategic and lateral thinking approach to the role with experience of an industry that at least has some similarity. Whilst not for the faint hearted, the role provides the ultimate challenge for a top quality Sales Executive. You would be joining a world class company with an enviable reputation an outstanding property portfolio, and the potential for promotion within the group.To apply, you will have a formal education with a strong B2B focused background. You may currently be in the Hotel sector, but you will be able to show evidence of leading and shaping the needs of customers through key customer engagements and business development.
