Placement OfficerPlacement OfficerDuration: Initially 3 months Hours: 37 hours a week Rate: £29 umbrella an hour £23 PAYE an hour Location: Wokingham – Hybrid minimum 1 day a week in the officeWokingham Borough Council are looking for Placement Officer to join their Adult Social Care Team. As a Placement Officer you will: Be responsible for sourcing placements for vulnerable adults, including those ready to be discharged from the hospitalWork closely with Social Workers and care providers to negotiate fees and secure appropriate placements, all while ensuring the best outcomes for the people supportedProvide duty cover, triaging and redirecting emails and responding to urgent queries Requirements Experience in a social care setting, understanding the complexities of adult care placementsExperience in sourcing placements for vulnerable adultsConfident in liaising with Social Workers and care providers via telephone and other channelsAble to handle challenging situations and navigate complex care requirements
