As a Public Areas Cleaner your main duties and responsibilities will be ensuring the public areas of our Hotel such as the reception and restaurant are kept clean and tidy, meeting health and safety standards and minimising risks. You will also complete any housekeeping tasks as required to keep our Hotel clean and safe. We are looking for someone who has… * Availability to work 20 hours per week across 2-3 shifts (day-shift and night-shift) * Experience working within Cleaning or Housekeeping would be beneficial * Ability to work independently, working to time deadlines and at a fast pace * An un-stuffy, thoughtful approach to service. You will be someone who enjoys to showcase your personality and your ability to be a host to our guests, providing them with a laid-back stay * An interest in our environment and sustainability – we are characterised by innovation and finding ways to become more sustainable * Overall, ready to work in our voco team and provide our guests with a warm Glasgow welcome! * Experience working within Cleaning or Housekeeping would be beneficial * Ability to work independently without close supervision * Flexibility towards work and enjoy working within different areas of the Hotel * Willing to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team!
