About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of accounting. You’ll prepare financial statements, monitor budgets, and assist in financial forecasting. Your analytical skills will be key in helping the company make informed decisions while contributing to strategic planning. About the Client: The company you’ll be joining is an established company in the Mechanical and Electrical industry, renowned for delivering high-quality services across various sectors. The firm is dedicated to fostering growth, both for their employees and their clients. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (45-hour week) Key Duties Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.Process payment runs for approvalOverview of client invoicing, inter-company invoicing and ensure timely collections.Liaising with company accountants, with monthly reports and reviews. Preparation of monthly VAT and CIS returns. Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close procedures, including reconciliation on inter-company balances and trading accounts, preparation of accrued/deferred income/costs.Preparation of financial forecasting and budgets to help guide business planningAssisting with month-end closing procedures Key Requirements ACCA / CIMA / AAT qualified Proven experience of working with the XERO softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skillsProactive and self-motivated
