Job Description: The Security Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving the success of our cybersecurity solutions by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle. This role involves working closely with the sales team, customers, and partners to design, demonstrate, and deploy advanced security solutions that address complex customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in solution design, technical presentations, and customer engagement. They will act as the technical advisor and trusted resource for customers, ensuring the successful deployment of our security solutions and driving customer satisfaction and retention. Key Responsibilities: Provide pre-sales technical support and consulting for customers, including demonstrations and product demonstrations. Assist the sales team in qualifying prospects and developing tailored cybersecurity pitches based on customer use cases and customer data analysis. Advise customers on best practices for cellular IoT security, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies. Develop and manage proof-of-concept deployments to demonstrate the solution’s value and technical feasibility. Oversee technical aspects of customer onboarding and launch, ensuring successful implementation and integration of Aeris IoT Watchtower Engage with channel partners to provide technical support, training, and co-selling activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders to ensure customer success and satisfaction. Act as the technical expert on Aeris IoT Watchtower Awareness and Enforcement. Provide deep knowledge of Secure Service Edge (SSE), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) capabilities. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position and differentiate the solution. Provide technical training and enablement sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the product and its capabilities. Develop technical collateral, including demo scripts and presentations, solution briefs, whitepapers, and best practice guides. Act as a bridge between customers and product management, advocating for customer needs and technical requirements to guide product development. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus. 6+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting, specifically in the fields of cybersecurity, IoT security, or mobile network security within Asian markets. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, including Secure Service Edge (SSE), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and encryption standards. In-depth knowledge of network security, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and implementation of security controls tailored to various network environments (e.g., enterprise, cloud, and hybrid networks). Expertise with leading cybersecurity platforms such as Palo Alto Networks (e.g., PAN-OS, Cortex XDR), Fortinet (e.g., FortiGate, FortiSIEM), Cisco Secure, and Check Point for advanced threat prevention and secure network configuration. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present and articulate complex cybersecurity solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong technical writing skills for creating comprehensive documentation, whitepapers, and security best practices guides. Experience working closely with product management and engineering teams to advocate for customer needs, ensuring that product enhancements align with real-world security requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record of building trust and strong relationships with customers and partners through proactive engagement and collaborative problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to assess and respond to complex security incidents in real-time, leveraging experience with threat detection and mitigation techniques. Strong project management skills with experience leading cybersecurity projects, including customer implementations, threat assessments, and vulnerability management. Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified IoT Security Practitioner (CIoTSP), or equivalent are highly preferred. Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, demonstrating ownership and accountability in delivering cybersecurity solutions and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
