At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Painter & Decorator to join our team with an immediate start date Welcome to InterContinental London Park Lane Located at one of the capital's most prestigious addresses, where the late Queen Elizabeth II once resided. Reporting to the Director of Engineering you will be working alongside a team of skilled Maintenance Assistants. Your role will involve: * Preparing surfaces, filling holes, and sealing cracks * Removing old paint and paper by sanding or scraping * Inspecting painted surfaces and rectifying flaws or defects * Replacing or repairing plaster board * Evaluating jobs and ensuring the correct quantity and quality of materials is ordered. * Maintaining stock levels for current and future jobs * Tidying and cleaning tools To succeed as a Painter & Decorator, you will need: * To be passionate about delivering great service and have a great understanding of Health and Safety. * To be a qualified Painter & Decorator, with experienced gained within Hotel Environment of a similar size, standard and complexity. * To be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team.
