We are looking for an experienced Marine Civil Engineer to join an Irish Maritime team. Based in Dublin, Cork, Galway, or Limerick, the role involves supporting a wide range of engineering projects across European and global markets, working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop designs for maritime structures, flood defenses, and coastal protection from initial concept to construction. Conduct risk assessments for coastal erosion and flood hazards, incorporating climate change impacts. Prepare project documentation, including technical reports and tender responses. Provide guidance to junior engineers and manage task delegation to support project timelines. Coordinate with teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil or marine engineering, or a related discipline. At least 4 years of experience in areas such as port and harbor engineering, dredging, reclamation, metocean studies, coastal protection, or renewable energy projects. Strong team collaboration skills and proactive problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with coastal risk mapping, modeling tools, or GIS is preferred. Experience in Irish or UK markets and additional European language skills is beneficial.
