Description:

We are seeking a Civil Water Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to join a growing team specializing in water engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing engineer to work on a variety of high-profile projects across multiple sectors. Responsibilities: Design and oversee surface water, foul drainage, wastewater treatment, and water supply infrastructure for projects, including rural and urban roads, and development sites. Lead and contribute to hydrological estimation and flood risk assessments, including 1D-2D flood modelling of rivers and watercourses. Develop sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) strategies tailored to specific site needs. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout project lifecycles. Provide technical input into planning and policy development for flood risk management and climate change adaptation strategies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8) or equivalent. Proficiency in flood risk assessments and hydrological estimation methodologies. Experience in the design and implementation of water infrastructure projects, from planning through to construction. Competence in 1D-2D flood modelling and the design of SuDS. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Full driving license and fluency in English (written and spoken). Master's degree (Level 9) and additional experience are an advantage.
