Our client is a start-up technology company, and they are looking for a passionate and result-oriented part-time Business Development & Account Manager (5 hours a week) to join their expanding team and contribute to their ambitious growth plans. This is a great opportunity to become an important member of a growing business in a competitive market. This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys building relationships. Please note a valid driving licence and a car are required for the role, and they are looking for candidates who are happy to travel to different areas as this is not a typical office job, therefore being out on the road must be something you're comfortable with. Please note that the compensation package for this role includes a base at NLW per hour plus commission and equity. Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and market analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Communicate (physical visits, emails, calls, and social media) with potential clients. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure it is as quick, efficient and seamless as possible Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of client solutions. Monitor market trends and competitors; and identify potential areas for growth. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand professional networks and represent the company. Requirement Minimum of five years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in business development, sales, or account management. Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, drive sales cycles, and close deals. Commercially knowledgeable who understands the economics of food delivery Be able to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients Take ownership and work within demanding targets Be tenacious and motivated Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales productivity tools. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a related field would be a bonus but not mandatory.
