As a Senior or Principal Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality building surveying services to our clients in the commercial and residential sectors. You will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:- Conducting building surveys and producing detailed reports for commercial and residential properties- Carrying out dilapidations assessments and negotiating settlements- Preparing and managing project budgets and timelines- Providing technical advice and guidance to clients on building regulations and compliance- Undertaking measured surveys and producing accurate drawings using AutoCAD- Managing and coordinating a team of surveyors and technicians- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to contribute to the growth of the companyRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field- Chartered membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building surveying, preferably in a consultancy setting- Strong knowledge of building regulations and legislation in the UK- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other relevant software- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills- A proactive and self-motivated attitude- Full UK driving licenseWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a company car, pension scheme, and opportunities for career development and progression.
