This role is key in managing a property law team and delivering high-level legal advice on complex commercial property matters.ROLE: Senior Property LawyerSALARY: £49,498 to £53,578 per annumLOCATION: BedfordshirePlease note that this position would be hybrid working and 2 days per week in the office.Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day management of 3-4 staff members, allocating and overseeing workloadLead on high-level and complex areas of commercial property law, including development projects, landlord and tenant matters, disposals, acquisitions, and conveyancingDraft, negotiate, and interpret complex legal documentation for a variety of statutory and non-statutory agreementsAdvise on legal matters related to education, residential, highways, charity law, and moreEnsure the Council's property interests are protected, income is secured, and statutory and procedural compliance is maintained Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years’ PQEStrong background in commercial property law within a public sector environmentExperience managing a property legal teamProven ability to draft and interpret complex legal documentsKnowledge of local government and statutory regulations is advantageous Benefits: Hybrid working modelCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunity to manage a dynamic team and make a significant impact on council projects If this Senior Property Lawyer role sounds like an opportunity of interest, please feel free to reach out to Lloyd Stanley on 01772 XXXXXX, or email XXXX@servicecare.org.uk.
